chip is "better". I just thought it would be interesting to see how the individual chips performed in varying environments, this would help show weaknesses in code that could then be improved. For example, you may have a chip that performs just fine in your given environment (altitude, humidity, available octane in gas, etc etc) but once you move that chip into a diff environment I could be dangerous to the motor. By testing a baseline set of chips I think we could come up with some pretty defined parameters on what is safe, and what is pushing it. I had great support from the community when I started my exhaust manifold flow project, several people sent me manifolds without hesitation. Granted this project would be a bit more involved (would require a dyno and more time) but I think the knowledge that would be gained would be worth it. Honestly, if we were to work together, who's to say we couldn't outperform some of the Japanese tuners. :)
